Skoufis secures $15K
for Newburgh Free Library
Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) announced
that he secured vital funding of $15,000 for the Newburgh
Free Library to purchase interactive digital kiosks.
“I was proud to fight for the funding for these kiosks
that will help spread information to the Newburgh
community and expand access to educational and
professional materials,” said Senator Skoufis. “The
reality is that not everyone has access to technology,
so our libraries must be equipped to provide those
resources because they are the spaces so many depend
on; I will always continue to fight for and support our
community’s information hubs.”
