New Windsor to host
Arbor Day celebration
The Town of New Windsor and the Town of New
Windsor Tree Committee will host its inaugural
Arbor Day Event this Friday, April 27, at 11 a.m.
EST at the Town Hall Complex. The event is made
possible due in part to a grant the town has received
from the New York State Urban Forestry Council.
The town will host an official dedication of five
new trees purchased with the grant, as well as
several additional trees that have been privately
donated, along with a re-dedication of the town
Fireman’s Memorial.
Trees will be dedicated to local Veterans
Organizations and First Responders.
