Scott Nelson Quay Zander
Scott Nelson, Agronomy Manager for Mid-County,
started with the company Sept. 1, 2011. He earned a
bachelor of science degree in management and has
been in that fi eld for several years. Scott has spent
several years working on a dairy farm. He is married
and has three children. During his off time, Scott
enjoys fi shing and hunting. Scott has helped organize
fundraising events, and is a former Delano Chamber
of Commerce president. Energy Manager Quay Zander oversees the energy
department as it pertains to pricing, contracting,
dispatching, and servicing the company’s customers.
Hired May 7, 2001, Quay began his career with Mid-
County in the agronomy department as a custom
applicator. He eventually moved his way into the
energy and fuel department. He lives with his wife,
Nancy; daughter Rebecca; and son, Jacob on their
family farm north of Waverly. Quay is a member of St.
John’s Lutheran Church in Howard Lake, and the Sons
of the American Legion Post 145. He is an active HLWW
FFA alumnus. Besides taking time out for his family, he
is passionate about hunting and fi shing.
Mike Droeger
Mike Droeger, hired by Mid-County July 24, 2007,
currently holds the position of transport driver. He
has been driving commercial vehicles for 16 years.
His family consists of his wife and two children. They
currently live in Waconia. Mike enjoys the outdoors,
where he spends time fi shing and hunting.
Corey Eischens
Corey Eischens works for Mid-County as a diesel
mechanic, and has been with the company for almost
12 years. He specializes in maintaining trucks, trailers,
and agronomy equipment. Corey grew up in the
trucking industry, and has many years of experience in
his fi eld. He has a two-year degree from St. Cloud State
University. Corey and his wife are from Green Isle, and
have 4 children.
