AGRONOMY
Meet new Sales
Agronomist Kory Johnson A better way to
treat soybeans
Kory Johnson joined Mid County’s agronomy sales
team in May, and is looking forward to helping area
producers maximize their operations.
“I want farmers to feel free to call me with whatever
they need, and let me know of any questions and con-
cerns,” he said.
He grew up in Watertown, SD, and spent much of
his childhood and teen years working on a relative’s
nearby farm.
“It was a nice experience,” he said, noting that while
most of the work was manual labor, he looked forward
to driving the air-conditioned tractor in the summer-
time.
Kory attended college at North Dakota
State University in Fargo, and graduated
with a degree in agronomy. Before com-
ing to Mid-County Coop, he worked in
agronomy sales in Olivia.
He currently lives in Chaska, and enjoys
playing golf in his free time. He also
enjoys spending time with his fiancée,
who works as a chiropractor in the
area. The couple is planning a wed-
ding in August 2016.
At Mid-County Agronomy, Kory is ex-
cited to build relationships with area
farmers, and to provide answers to
their crop-related questions.
Kory can be reached at (952) 466-
3730 or koryj@midcountycoop.

purchased new seed-treating

Tyler Litfin
Tyler Litfin joined Mid-County Coop as a custom applicator July 6. He grew up in Waconia,
where he milked cows, did chores, and drove tractors at a friend’s nearby farm. After gradu-
ating from Waconia High School in 2010, Tyler took a few classes at Ridgewater College in
Hutchinson before joining the Army. He was stationed in New York, and served as a truck
driver, team/squad leader, and executive operations coordinator. He is now off active duty, and
has re-enlisted for four years with the Army National Guard. In his free time, Tyler can often be
found hunting, fishing, or spending time with family.
