STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Diane Beckrich Rich Pauly
Before joining Mid-County as an administrative
assistant, Diane Beckrich and her husband, Jerry, had
operated a dairy farm in Cologne. Dassel resident Rich Pauly is excited to put his 30
years of experience in the fuels and energy industry to
work at Mid-County Coop in Cologne.
They still keep busy raising beef cattle, steers, and
sheep, and growing corn, silage, beans, and hay. Rich grew up in Chaska, and graduated from Chaska
High School. He started working for the family business,
Minnesota Valley Oil in Carver, with his father, Arlan
Pauly, in the 1980s. Mid-County Coop purchased the
company in 2000.
Diane is originally from Shakopee, and her fi rst
husband raised beef cattle and hogs before he passed
away from cancer.
At Mid-County, Diane works with LP and bulk fuel
tickets, enters data for the Holiday Station Store, and
takes fuel orders over the phone, among other duties.
When she’s not at work, Diane loves gardening,
sewing, and spending time with family, including her
three sons. Her oldest son owns beef cattle, her second
oldest works as a mechanic in Shakopee, and the
youngest is a mechanical engineer at Cambria.
Art Templin
Mid-County Coop’s Art Templin works as the
agronomy offi ce support and was hired Dec. 14, 2009.
His main duties consist of offi ce work where he does
billing, answers phone calls, and works with customers.
Templin was raised on a family farm northeast of
Plato. He began his career serving farmers at the
Plato fertilizer plant in 1976. He and his wife reside in
Plato. Together they have a son, daughter, and four
grandchildren. Templin is passionate about fi shing,
deer hunting, classic cars, and antique tractors.

Throughout the years, Rich has been involved in the
sales and transport of bulk and consumer fuels. He
joined Mid-County Coop in August 2014, and enjoys
being part of the energy sales team.
When he’s not at work, Rich enjoys spending time
with his family. His hobbies include hunting and other
outdoor activities.
Brad Buehler
Brad Buehler is a custom applicator at Mid-County
Agronomy. He grew up on a beef feedlot farm in Storm
Lake, IA, and went to college for animal science at
South Dakota State University.
He then moved to Colorado to work on a farm with
125,000 head of cattle. While there, he met his wife, who
is originally from California. The couple later moved to
southern Iowa, where Brad began working as a custom
applicator. From there they moved to Arlington, MN,
due to Brad’s wife’s promotion as a safety manager.
Brad is enjoying his time in Minnesota.
