Sweet Music
Mid-County fuel delivery driver , Steve Solmonson , began his journey with the company on December 15 , 2008 . His job duties include delivering fuel and getting to know his customers in order to better meet their needs . Before beginning his career with Mid- County , Solmonson was involved in the propane business . He and his wife live on Phelps Island , located in Mound . They have six grandchildren . During his downtime , Solmonson likes to fish and hunt with his son and enjoys his annual trip to the shore of Lake Superior . A little known fact about Steve : he is a long-time member of the Daisy Dillman Band .
Helping farmers since 1976
Mid-County ’ s Art Templin works as the agronomy office support and was hired on December 14 , 2009 . His main duties consist of office work where he does billing , answers phone calls , and works with customers . Templin was raised on a family farm northeast of Plato . He began his career serving farmers at the Plato fertilizer plant in 1976 . He and his wife reside in Plato . Together they have a son , daughter , and four grandchildren . Templin is passionate about fishing , deer hunting , classic cars , and antique tractors .
