Entry Guidelines
Students need to have
achieved Preparing to Teach
in the Lifelong Learning
Sector (PTLLS) and Certificate
in Teaching in the Lifelong
Learning Sector (CTLLS).
Also an advanced qualification
in your subject area i.e. the
subject you intend to teach.
GCSE Maths and English or
equivalent (support will be
available to enable you to
work towards these whilst on
the course).
All candidates must work/
volunteer in the sector and
be fulfilling the ‘Full Teaching
role’ as described in the LLUK
Framework.
You must have completed 100
hours teaching practice by the
end of the programme; have a
subject mentor and evidence
of agreement from your line
manager to confirm your role
prior to enrolment on to the
programme.
