INTERVIEW TO GEMMA PÉREZ-VICO

Gemma Pérez-Vico is one of the organizers of the Erasmus programme and, also, is one of the teachers of the Administration and Commerce Department in Centre d'Estudis Roca.

1. How do you carry the Erasmus organization?

Well, because we grouped the students interested in the Erasmus program according to the tests of English level and the interest of the country.

2. How do you select the students from the school?

First of all, they need to not have any pending or suspended subject of the previous year or of the current course. The student must have a B1 level and has to be eager to take the Erasmus scholarship.

3. What documentation is necessary to travel?

Have the Spanish nationality or request a document from the embassy of the person's country of origin. To apply for the European health card and, under 18 years old students have, also, to request an authorization to leave the country from their parents or legal guardians.

4. Who pays of the trip? the school? the students?

The Inform Foundation gives the scholarship to the student, that represents almost the 80% of the total amount. The remaining 20%, has to be paid by the student.

5. Are excursions or visits to emblematic places included?

They are not included. In addition, the visits are optional and the student can decide whether to go or not. Although there are some excursions that are within the city itself, they are not paid.

6. What does the scholarship includes?

The scholarship includes the flight, private medical insurance, half board that would be breakfast and dinner, and accommodation.

7. Does the family take care of the meals?

The student can explain to the host family what their tastes are, so that the family can take it into account.
