TRIP TO BROADSTAIRS

The 21st of October, the students of second of ESO went to Broadstairs, a town in the east of
England. We were there from 21st to 26th, and we learned a lot of English while we had
some fun .
During the week, to a school in the
morning, where we
had some funny classes. In the
school there was a canteen and
some table tennis, so we didn´t get
bored! We had lunch at school and
in the afternoon we did quizes.
We also visited some villages, like
Canterbury and Ramsgate, wich not
only are beautiful towns but they
are towns with a lot of history as well.
We stayed in a house with an English family and with
our friend. All the families were very nice, while we
were spending a great time talking to them we were
learning English. Being with an English family was a
very nice way to learn more about that language.
Food in England wasn’t the same as in Spain. We had
breakfast and dinner at the house but we had lunch at
school.
One day we went to London by train, and we visited
the most important monuments of this city, such as
the Big Ben or the Buckingham palace. We also went
shopping and we bought a lot of souvenirs.

For breakfast we hada glass of milk with some cereals
or a toast with tomato. For dinner we had lots of
different things such as pizza, pasta, meat… However
the lunch was very different there, for lunch the school
gave us a sandwich with a bottle of water.In
conclusion, this trip was amazing, we spent a great
time there while we were learning English.
