Cronos, in Greek mythology, belongs to the first generation of titans, being this the youngest of the descendants of Gea and Uranus. Member of a large family, because it had eleven other brothers, helped his mother to release some of the brothers that Uranus had captured in a secret and remote place, these were the three Hectanochrees.
