understand no one likes to see the real side of domestic violence we like to hear success stories and see victims when they have come out of the hell they were once in. This is October, while it's more commonly known as Breast cancer awareness month, it too is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It seems to also take a back seat to the month. We need to bring it to the front seat, this can be prevented with help of organizations, counseling, and mental awareness. I will take you through that scene that no one wants to see. Look, be aware, be afraid, be a voice.

I invite you to take a look at the photographs in the next couple of pages, think as if this was your child, your mother, your sibling, your friend. You can be the voice for someone that is too afraid. They are ready to be healed they just need some help and a hand.
