Beautiful morning at the pitch as the U15s started out another GREAT day of HURLING! Rory Burmeister started the game off quickly with a few points for Mystic Ireland. Tristan Haugh, taking after his dad, impressed the crowd with hockey like saves in goal and puck outs to match. Both teams incorporated more hand passing into their team’s repertoire this week and got the sliotar moving up and down the lines. Rory Burmesiter and Augie Senn banded together to double team and take down the always shifty, Ziggy Senn. The coaches and refs really loved hearing the communication between all of the players. Augie Senn went down at the beginning of the second half, but after a quick ice of his jaw he was back on the field. Cue played a strong defensive game this week as he tracked down the ball and got away from his attackers to clear it away from the goal. Both teams played hard until the final whistle blew.
