MHC and Milwaukee Irish Fest – A Good Thing
Volunteers are crucial to MHC and Irish Fest. Without them it just doesn’t work. During Irish Fest MHC needs you to donate your time and efforts to help make the Sports Area a success but we also need to support our Youth League Sponsor, Irish Fest.
How can you help and still volunteer for MHC?
Move the Office and Unload the Trucks
Dates/times: Saturday, August 9th - 10am - 5pm

The IF office needs to be loaded on to trucks, and several trucks need to be unloaded at the Summerfest grounds. They really need strong, healthy helpers and MHC would be GREAT for this job. Lunch, snacks and beverages are provided.
Grounds Set-Up
Dates/times: August 11-14, 9am-5pm
Report to/Contact: John Maher, Grounds Office just inside Gate 6
Report to the grounds office located right near Gate 6 any time the week before the festival and they will help you find something to do. Lunch provided daily.
Youth Volunteers
Dates/Times: Thursday & Friday 4-8 PM, Saturday & Sunday12-8 Before the Festival, Before the Gates open on that weekend, After the festival

• Kids of any age can volunteer.
• Under 13 – they need to work with a parent or trusted adult. 13-17 can work on their own.
• Jobs are available for all ages and needs and include admission, a parking voucher and food tickets.
• Putting the kids to work can really help defray the cost of a weekend at the festival.
• Any kids who work prior to the festival or in an early AM festival job still gets a ticket. Before the festival and the Monday 8/19 volunteers will be provided with meals and beverages as well.
What should you do?
Find a place you can give some time, contact the coordinator and volunteer yourself or your kids (be sure to mention you are part of MHC), PUT ON YOUR MHC GEAR! And have fun.
