Meghan Dillon
Meghan is also a rookie this year with the Brocach Bandits, and with about a month of practice is ready to get into the action. She first heard about hurling from Cory Johnson, and after nine months and two roommates pressuring her, gave in to the call of the pitch. Off the pitch she can be found at Trinity or the Harp, volunteering as a Physical Therapist with Team Phoenix, an organization that trains breast cancers survivors to complete triathlons or 5Ks, or playing beach volleyball or tennis. When asked what she’ll be doing before a game, her answer was specific and inspiring: “I imagine I'll get ready by envisioning myself running up the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps with 'Gonna Fly Now' followed by 'Eye of the Tiger' playing in my head. What people will actually see is me standing by myself casually double fist pumping to nothing.”
