President Wilson is boldly guiding Morgan toward elevation to the coveted R1 Carnegie Classification, while adamantly insisting that he will not allow the University to lose its soul by giving priority to research over effective teaching and learning.
For my classmates returning to campus this Homecoming season, it’ s quite easy to get lost on Morgan’ s ever-expanding and ever-improving campus. The once-common phrase“ meet me on the bridge” is now obsolete because the campus is now connected by three bridges.
Historic Preservation. A HBCU Homecoming, specifically Morgan’ s Homecoming,- is a family reunion. We reconnect with our past – and marvel at the future that unfolds on the campus. For there is indeed – no place like home. •
