And Kevin Lewis wants others to how he was inspired by his father to become a photographer at an early age and landed a picture he took of
Sammy Davis Jr . on the front page of The Miami Times when he was just 14 .
“ I don ’ t care what you do , just love it ,” Kevin Lewis remembers his father telling him . “ It is his love and passion for his work , for his family and for life , that will never be buried ,” Kevin Lewis said of his dad .
That is a fitting epitaph for a son to ask for his father . n
