October 2018 All MG Day – 9 Sep 2018 W The catering arrived and soon the smell of bacon and eggs, and sausage sizzles from the Lions Club of Rostrevor, and fresh coffee from The Coffee Van hit the air. There was also a tent setup to sell models of cars and they had a raffle going as well. hat a glorious morning to get the MG out of the shed and drive into the Torrens parade ground. The weather held up all day, with slightly mild and sunny conditions. This year’s event was held in the city close to the Adelaide Oval, the River Torrens and the shopping precinct of Rundle Mall. All the cars made an entrance through the MG club banner (see pic) and made their way to park. Many members milled around to look at the cars, whilst others went off for shopping or meals at eateries in the Mall.
