tle, clean out and reassemble. I would say that this single action has given me the biggest noticeable result in all the rebuild. By washing out the seized one, its working well again( I have since then pulled off the front ones and washed them out as well). New banjo bolts were required at the rear as the originals were about 30 % worn through. Reassembled the back end and she handles speed bumps a lot better than before.
Lesson learnt – never assume anything will be a quick job on a 60 year old car – check your rear shocker oil, because its likely no one else ever has.( I checked my diff which holds
