MID WEEK LUNCH RUN NEWS From.. Diane Holmes

opefully winter will be behind us next month and we can enjoy longer drives for the rest of the year. I have just booked the Riverside Hotel at Tailem Bend for October as it was suggested to us when we were at Murray Bridge last April. This will be another hotel we can look forward to for a first time visit & I can see more on the horizon for next year. Please let us know if you have any recommendations.
Thank you to the members, who came in their MGs this month – the weather looked uncertain, but it remained dry & during lunch we had a sunny view from our venue at the Belair Country Club. At this time of year we find our members getting ready for travelling overseas,
although some have already returned with their latest stories. More recently retired members are joining us – sometimes on a regular basis & some on a casual one. We enjoy meeting new faces whenever you can make it.
David & I are well again after Rodger Polkinghorne stepped in last month to do a very admirable job in our absence.
Next mid week lunch run will be on 14 September, 2017 to The Gully Hotel at Tea Tree Gully meeting at The Maid Hotel at Stepney at 10.30am and departing 11.30am.
