MONDAY 16TH - SUPERSPRINT AT MALLALA - COMPETITION ENTRANTS
Situated 50km north of Adelaide, Mallala has been the home of SA Motor racing for
many years, the 1.27km layout suits all types of cars, plenty of spectator areas and
with catering available.
Practice sessions for all entrants to establish similar lap time grids
At least two sets of four flying laps among cars of similar performance.
Test yourself and your car on the exciting, historic Mallala circuit.
Gates open at 8.00 am for a day of super sprinting,
MONDAY 17TH - OBSERVATION RUN - COMPETITION ENTRANTS
An interclub touring event on public roads conducted within South Australian Road
Laws, following a prescribed route, starting from Thorndon Park Reserve at 9am.
The Observation run takes approx 3 hours and is less than 120 kms.
Lunch at a quality eatery is included in your entry and there are many inviting
places to have a coffee or two along the way.
Cars will be started off in their category (oldest cars first), and the Observation run
route instructions and questions will be given to you before you leave Thordon Park
Reserve.
It is not a race!! The quickest time won’t win
MONDAY 17TH - SCENIC TOUR - SOCIAL ENTRANTS
This tour will follow the same route as the Competition Observation Run, however,
it will leave after the competition entrants have started.
Plan to meet at 9 am at Thorndon Park Reserve and the run itself should take
approx 3 hours.
This is not a race, so take the opportunity to stop at one of the many coffee shops
along the road (or two, if you desire – three may be a bit much) lunch included at
finish joining in with the Observation Run entrants.
MONDAY EVENING - PRESENTATION DINNER - ALL ENTRTANTS
The Presentation Dinner will be held at The Donato Reception Centre, Humphries
Terrace, Kilkenny from 7.00pm until midnight
A 3 course dinner will be served and an initial drinks package will be supplied to
each table. After that, drinks may be purchased from the bar. Live music to entertain between presentations
Trophies for Competition, Outright awards and Perpetual trophies will be presented
during the evening
