F3K World Champs 2013
Next month the F3K team of Joe Wurts, Kevin Botherway, Peter Williams and Team Manager John Shaw travel to Denmark to defend their Champion team title and Joe the World Champion title. The team was the best in the world in 2011 and Iā m sure you all will join with the SIG and wish the team every success in the 2013 challenge.
2013 SoarChamps & 2013 WC F3J Trial
Another successful Soarchamps has been completed with a total of 21 entries. All events were flown with the exception of the Champagne fly-off. Some rain interrupted the programme on Friday morning and midday Saturday but apart from that it was a great weekend. It was great to see Dave Pratley come from Aussie, guys from Auckland in the north and Timaru in the south make it to a prestigious event in a fantastic location. It was good to have some female competition with Suetonia Palmer in the ALES.
ALES 200 proved to be a popular event given the rules were only finalized at the Nats AGM and flown for the first time at this national championship event.
The F3J trial was successfully held with a combined total of 11 rounds between F3J & Premier Duration. Congratulations to Joe Wurts, Dave Griffin and Scott Chisholm for making the 2014 team.
