Mezzo Production and Armenian Jazz Association gave rise to jazz development in 2015, when the first large scale jazz festival was being held in Armenia. As the fest was a real success it became an annual event, and since then each year jazz festivals are being organized. Several Grammy winning artists from the USA, Austria, France, Lebanon, Georgia, Russia and the UK were invited.
It's already 4 years AJA and Mezzo Production have been organizing the Yerevan Jazz Fest producing the best results every year.
In the scopes of Yerevan Jazz Fest 2015 Yerevan hosted talented American Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist Richard Bona, who was the headliner of that year’s festival.
Famous, three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Dee Dee Bridgewater and English singer Joss Stone were the stars of Yerevan Jazz Fest 2016.
Yerevan Jazz Fest 2017 started on 26th of October and it opened Grammy Award-winning composer and musician Marcus Miller. In 2017 the festival recorded incredible number of people who were present during all five concerts.
