Creating unique , personalized mementos is Jacqueline ’ s specialty . A bride who had lost her father wanted an “ In Memory ” board . Jacqueline created a one-of-a-kind clear plexiglass board for the bride with her father ’ s dates and a special quote . The bride not only used it at her wedding , but it was later re-used by two siblings at their weddings and the memory board is regularly taken to family events to commemorate the life of their dad .
Jacqueline often sees brides making special collage keepsakes that would include their invitation , maybe some preserved flowers from the bouquet , the wax seal or stamp and other special items that are then encased and preserved in resin . These make great coffee table decor or paper weights .
Live paintings have become a popular trend at weddings . Kristine Westwood of Kristine Westwood Art loves capturing a special moment for a couple . She meets with the bride and groom prior to the ceremony and they pick a special moment they would like for her to capture . It might be the first look , the first kiss , or maybe walking down the aisle and then Kristine arrives with a completely blank canvas to your wedding . She will take a couple of photos of the moment you want to capture , then will paint that moment throughout your ceremony and reception , having it about 95 % complete by the end of your event . Guests love watching your painting come to life .

Through the magic of paint , Kristine can put leaves on trees . She also loves hiding “ easter eggs ” in your painting . She had one groom who loved soccer , but obviously would not be wearing his jersey at the wedding . Kristine was able to work in his team ’ s logo , his jersey number and a small soccer ball all hidden within the painting and the bride and groom were thrilled !
