Planning, replanning and planning again
Anyone have – reschedule your entire
wedding due to a global pandemic on
your 2020 bingo card?
The making of this issue has been a challenge.
I am sure that you are nodding
your head right now thinking "So has
planning my wedding!". Everything this
year has been a challenge!
From buying simple things like toilet
paper and hand sanitizer to having to
reschedule an entire event...merchants,
guests, marriage licences, honeymoon,
etc. Some of you are just hoping you get to
keep your wedding on the date you scheduled
it in the future. I am hoping for that
for you as well!
Some days the light at the end of the tunnel
is bright, others it seems to be a little
cloudy. As the world takes baby steps to
open back up again, we started to work
hard at planning wedding expos for you
that will be both safe and fun!
I am sure you and I have many of the
same concerns! How can I have the wedding
(or in my case wedding show), that I
have been dreaming of... but make sure
that my guests are safe from harm.
Metropolitan Weddings has been coordinating
our efforts with merchants to
come up with fun ideas to help navigate
event planning in these times. We have
come up with ways to social distance &
ideas for virtual weddings for those who
would have been traveling. Get connected

Our blog has a new post every Wedding
Wednesday. Metropolitan Weddings also
launched a podcast this year! New episodes
drop each Monday and are FULL of
wedding education as we interview vendors
so they can give you the inside track
to all things wedding!
We will all make it through this. Vows
will be exchanged, anniversaries will be
celebrated and families will be sprouted.
In 40 some years your grandchildren will
be writing a paper for class and asking
you what it was like during 'covid-times.'
Boy will you have a story to tell! XmW
