Through practical teaching that encourages students to be innovative, I aim to create an environment where they can find the answer on their own. This way they will create knowledge and be able to build on it in the future. This also leads many of my students to discover their passion for finance. How does your professional experience impact your lessons? In class I often share what I learned about how the stock markets really function compared to the models. I use simulations in every course, and often I ask students to create an analysis and valuation of a real M&A deal or a corporation. ollow our professors on F LinkedIn for articles and insights Business experience: Before establishing herself as a leading academic at Harvard and CUNY, Viktoria worked as an advisor to the President of the National Bank of Hungary and was Chief of Staff for the Budget, Tax, and Finance Committee of the Hungarian Parliament Hungarian Finance Professor Viktoria Dalko, PhD
