The influence of social media networking sites like Facebook and Twitter in branding, marketing, development of products and services is growing as lakhs of new people taking to social networking every day.
With over 6 crore Indians already using social media actively, business( and organizations) of all sizes, sectors, and purposes, find it important to know how to make use of the explosion of social media for business.
However, it is not just about technology. What can really determine the long term and meaningful success of social media are strategic, managerial and creative capabilities that are required to evolve and execute unique social action plans.
Organizations need to know why they should get into social media, how they can generate business value, what teams should they have, what social platforms would make sense, and so on.
In this context CII Thiruvananthapuram Zone is organizing a one day workshop on“ Doing Business with Social Media” at 0930 hrs – 1700hrs on 12th July 2013 at Park Centre, Technopark Campus.
The workshop would equip participants to think business when they think social media- or how social tools can help you achieve your business goals. The participants will be presented with the big picture of the seemingly simple consumerism of IT and the potential of social media in co-creation and crowd sourcing of entire business value.
At the end of the workshop, participants will know how to evolve an end-to-end social co-creation strategy exclusively for their own organizations to address their immediate and long term business challenges
by collaborating with external stakeholders like customers.
