So, by means of motivating activities and group work, children will learn some important aspects to take into consideration in order to “save the planet”. TEACHING STRATEGIES with group works students will research and learn about the problems of our planet and design leaflets to explain people the problem and also to invite them to take actions to help our planet. TEACHING METHOD Group work: an effective method to motivate students, encourage active learning, and develop key critical-thinking, communication, and decision-making skills. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION Climate change is a very big problem, but there are a lot of little things we can do to make a difference. How can we help? Let's find out! TASK You are green activists and you have to make people conscious of the environmental problems. You have to design leaflets to explain people the problem and also to invite them to take actions to help our planet. PROCESS Step 1 Make a list of the problems regarding environment, polltion, recycling and work out possible solutions. Find aids on Internet to illustrate your ideas regarding small actions to make the difference. Step 2 Design your leaflet. It should include a title, a text with the main message and illustrations.
