Reinventing
Maintenance
The maintenance department
at Osasco has the challenge during 2014
of reducing maintenance costs by 10%,
ensuring that 100% of all planned training
courses are given, and preparing the sector
for the implementation of TPM, among
others. Aligned with this, the department is
being reorganized along the lines of a management model that seeks to find stability
and solidity in processes, while standardizing the way maintenance is managed in
other plants of the Group.
Thank you to the maintenance team at
the Apodaca for sharing this information
and its experiences, and to the entire team
at Osasco for its commitment!

Committed
to Safety
Metalsa India celebrated National Safety Week from March 4th to
11th as an outdoor activity.
The main objective was to focus
on promoting safety and make it
more robust to confirm safety in the
workplace.
Safety systems are only effective
when work is performed safely as a
habit, without the need to think about it.
TATA, one of our most important
customers, participated by sharing the
good safety practices of its company.
To finish, all employees signed the
poster “Working together for safety” to
reaffirm their commitment.
