In June, the Speaking Club was
inaugurated at the Apodaca Plant with
the supplier Toastmaster International. The Club will meet each Monday
from 4 to 6 pm in the Camionetas 1
Room where 17 people will participate.

Cafeteria Refurbishment

The Osasco Plant, together
with the company Sodexo, a supplier
of industrial kitchens that has collaborated with Metalsa for 18 years, worked
on the refurbishment of the plant
cafeteria with the objective of creating
a pleasant environment for employees
during mealtimes.

SOM in Brazil
During the week of May 19th, the
Osasco Plant held the last session of the
SOM Workshop which offered training in
Kaizen (continuous improvement) and
traction system maintenance. The main
objective of any task to be performed is
to implement improvements in production processes, thereby optimizing our
time and helping to reduce potential
waste of our resources.
Since March 2013, experts from
different fields have taken part in a total
of eight meetings with employees from
different locations around the world, including Mexico, the United States, India,
and Brazil.

Emotional Intelligence
Toward the start of this year,
coordinators at the Hopkinsville Plant
took part in emotional intelligence
training where they learned about
practical skills and motivation to improve the relationship between employees, reduce stress, and increase
productivity.
