Creating
Awareness
Canned Food
Donation
Environmental Week began
on March 10th at the Osasco Plant with
the goal of generating a positive impact
on employees and raising awareness of
the consequences our actions have on
the environment by also showing how
important it is to preserve it.
In addition to the requirements of Standard ISO 14001, the employees presented
a play at the event, which was a fun
way to show the importance that good
actions can have when it comes to the
environment.
On March 14th, in the presence of Union and Human Development Department representatives,
Metalsa’s San Luis de Potosí Plant
delivered 160 canned food products
that were collected during the month
of February to the Institute for the
Blind and Visually Weak. Thanks to
this donation, we helped 30 children.
Thank you to all the workers who
supported this cause!
Donation to Day Care Nursery
On April 4th, the El Talar
Plant in Argentina donated 58
benches for classrooms for children
aged 1, 2 and 3 years of age. Each of
the benches were assembled and
painted by coworkers’ children at the
Family Day 2013 event. Additionally,
school kits that included colored pencils,
glue, notebooks, modeling clay and
paper for drawing, as well as children’s
thermoses were provided. Thanks to
all the families and children for their
invaluable cooperation!
