hear them singing along. To know that we have affected some of our fans in a positive way with our music would be an awesome feeling. We love doing shows where half the crowd is wearing our shirts, we are trying to create a bar code army!
TJ: With this being Spring turning to the Summer time, a lot of big festivals are coming up. If you could choose one to play on, which one would it be and why?
BMT: We are actually playing a festival at The Rig in Pasadena this summer, it will be our first festival as we have only been doing shows since last October. We would love to eventually play a large festival. If we could pick one, it would be Mayhem Festival as some of our favorite bands are usually on the lineup and it would put us in front of large crowds. To get on the Lone Star Rally would be awesome too. Matt and I are Harley riders so we would enjoy playing for that crowd.
TJ: What words do you have to inspiring musicians?
BMT: Houston has to be one of the best places to be an original band. The support and camaraderie that other local musicians show is unmatched. Everyone is willing to help with promotions, shows, Facebook likes, merchandise, pretty much everything a new band needs to get started. Basically, a new band just needs to reach out and network themselves and they will be welcomed with open arms. Go to local shows and show your support and the support for your band will be there. It is give and take. Don't be afraid to do some old fashioned footwork, handing out flyers and demo discs, contests and give aways on FB. you have to be creative to get yourself out there!
