Creating the production that comprises
a Downfall 2012 performance has proven
to be very successful and has been well
accepted by virtually every venue we venture to. We take great pride in what we do and I feel it shows. It all started with a silly comment from Boo at one of our first rehearsals. He was like “It would be awesome if we made a drum kit out of home depot buckets and used it to spice up the show! I told him “have it ready by the weekend”. Come rehearsal time that Saturday he rolls into the studio lugging this giant metal rack with plastic buckets mounted to it. The rest is history! lol
At this point Downfall2012 is a 3 piece band....Danny Gil, Boo Rogers, Casey Bowen , are there any planes in the future to include and more members to the band and or elements to the music that we have not witnessed yet?
DF2012: We are considering the addition of one more member. We are very specific with what we are looking for, but we feel the upcoming body of work would be greatly enhanced by adding someone who fits the criteria
With 2014 drawing to a close what was your most memorable moment for you and the band?
DF2012: Oddly enough, the discussion leading to the conclusion that we will not be releasing the 3rd part of “Everyman for himself” just yet. That, through discussion, among other trials and tribulations, we 3 mutually agreed that our heads and creativity were elsewhere and our focused belonged on the music we are currently creating and refining.
What does 2015 have in store for Downfall 2012 and its fans?
DF2012: We are actively working on a new record and concepts for upcoming videos. We will be releasing a lot of material in 2015 and we’re more than excited to be sharing it. In addition, we are in the process of planning some regional shows and short run tour ideas for next year and beyond.
