Don Pedro of Aragon and his army are coming to Messina tonight. All soldiers return safe. Beatrice is at it again always talking about someone. Now she is attacking Benedick with her words she describes him as some disease and plague. The masquerade ball was crazy. It started when Don Pedro said he was going to act like Claudio to “woo” Hero and then he was going to leave and Claudio was going to enter after Don Pedro sweet talked her. Beatrice was angered after a hours of the ball. She went over to what she thought was just a member of the ball. She began to talk to this man and ask him who he was and did he know a guy named Benedick. He said he has never heard of this guy named “Benedick” but little did she know it actually was benedick. While claudio was pretending to be benedick Don John and Borachio came over and started talking to him.
