t one car dealership in Mesquite,
families can be found hanging
out late into the night, closing
deals on new vehicles. And young
children along for the experience
are sometimes looking for ways to
pass the time.

Trophy Nissan found a solution to that problem.
Because of the dealership’s new ReadPlayTalk
area, little ones will be busy and engaged while
their parents buy or lease a car. Trophy Nissan, a
fixture in Mesquite for nearly 50 years, recently
approached Mesquite ISD with enthusiasm about
getting involved in the district’s early literacy
initiative.
The area, prominently placed on the dealership
floor, has a glass exterior so everyone can enjoy the
bright, inviting space. MISD partnered with Nissan
to purchase several items for young visitors to
