The research confirmed and extended the
findings of the 2015 pilot study which had first
provided evidence of a validation failure. The
team interviewed a further 40 artists, commissioners
and added researchers to this mix. The
research engaged approximately 400 participants
through the advisory and stakeholder groups,
and through events run for members of these
groups. It also developed secondary forms of
engagement through online hits and social media
communications.
