THE COLLECTION
The New Dawn collection from MESE New York was strongly influenced by music and lyrics and took special note of the female driven pop music scene.
Creative Director, Vladimir Armand credits acts like Dua Lipa and her song, ‘Blow Your Mind’, in which one line confidently boasts, “Tell me I’m too crazy, (but) you can’t tame me… (You) tell me I have changed, but I’m the same me”.
More notably, he also credits the timeless lines, “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, and I’m feeling good.” from the classic “Feeling Good”, made famous by Ninan Simone.
Three core color palettes make up the collection. ‘Crimson’, which features a bright and bold burst of orange. 'Sea Breeze', which is a mesh of deep sea blues and subtle glimpses of teals and greens. and finally, 'Pearl', which compiles dusted shades of beige, brown, and pearly white.
