THE ROY CASTLE LUNG FOUNDATION
Last month , canal boat , the Pride of Sefton which is part of The Sovini Group , had the pleasure of welcoming volunteers from the Roy Castle Lung Foundation on-board for a leisurely trip along Liverpool ' s iconic waterways in celebration of Volunteers Week 2021 .
Graced with stunning weather , volunteers were able to take a much deserved break and discover the hidden waterways and majestic sights of Liverpool .
Ann Owens , Head of Customer Empowerment at The Sovini Group said ; “ It was a pleasure welcoming the volunteers on-board the Pride of Sefton . The boat is run by our own great team of volunteers who give up their time to deliver leisure trips to the community and charities . As part of The Sovini Group , we reinvest our profits into our communities and this is just one of many initiatives in place to positively change the lives of our customers and communities ."
