LIVERPOOL FOOD & RUNNING TOURS MD RUNS 24 HOURS FOR CHARITY
MHA MOORE AND SMALLEY STRENGTHEN LIVERPOOL TAX EXPERTISE WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENT
Liverpool Food Tours MD , Gareth Boyd has covered almost 92 miles by foot over a 24 hour period . He was running / walking for 2 local charities - The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity & The Bluecoat .
Gareth Boyd said : ' I ' m delighted to be able to support these 2 worthwhile charities . I love running and this 24 hour challenge seemed the perfect way to try and raise support . Thank you to everyone who has supported me to date ”. To date he has raised almost £ 1000 . Gareth started the 24 hour challenge at 9am Saturday 3rd July , only stopping for quick food / toilet breaks . He had reached 50 miles by late afternoon . Frustratingly the running turned to walking during the evening and heading into the early hours of Sunday morning he was moving at a slow pace . He didn ’ t stop , however , and whilst disappointed not to exceed 100 miles , he was pleased to complete the challenge and raise worthwhile funds .

Accountancy and business advisory firm MHA Moore and Smalley has strengthened its Liverpool office with a senior appointment to its tax team .
Lee Pimlett has been appointed senior tax manager , joining the business from UHY Hacker Young in Manchester where he worked as a research and development ( R & D ) tax manager .
His experience also includes specialising in R & D and corporate tax at Duncan Sheard Glass in Liverpool and working as PWC ’ s corporate portfolio lead in Manchester . In addition to several other accountancy roles , he also worked at HM Revenue & Customs for seven years .
Lee ’ s expertise in research and development tax issues will be a focus of his role at MHA Moore and Smalley . He will also support MHA Moore and Smalley ’ s business development in the region .

Lee lives in the Prescot area of Liverpool and is a keen cyclist . He is an advanced leader with British Cycling and ride leader for the Liverpool Century Road Club . He is currently waiting to be sworn in as a Magistrate for the Liverpool Courts .
