With Christmas fast approaching everyone starts to panic , emotions go into overload and especially with the current big Covid situation no one really knows what ’ s happening .
After the Christmas Day big rush and the family have left , you get some reflection time and can begin to make plans and set goals for the new year ! Some people want to give up chocolate and lose weight , some people want to find a new job or give up bad habits .
My advice would be to keep your goals simple and attainable . One goal which could dramatically make you feel better and is easy to maintain - drink more water !
To look after yourself , start with your skin . SPF 30 everyday even in the winter months and 3 litres of water a day !
Did you know that 1 cup of coffee takes a full litre of water to balance it off and did you know our body weight comprises nearly 60 to 70 percent of water , and that sufficient intake of water can help us evade many health problems ?
Drinking water on an empty stomach facilitates its easy absorption by the body . In fact , drinking two glasses of water just after you wake up helps stimulate the peristaltic muscles and boosts blood circulation . These are just a few of the many reasons why water is good for your body .
It helps keep the digestive system healthy . It maintains the volume and viscosity of blood , which prevents blood thickening and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases like hypertension , heart attacks , etc .
It flushes out toxins from your body through urination and sweat . Water , known as the “ universal solvent ”, is the best solvent for most toxic materials and thus , the best agent for the elimination of toxic wastes .
It minimizes the chances of colon cancer by 45 %, breast cancer by 75 %, and bladder cancer by 50 %. Your skin is an organ .
In fact , it ’ s the largest organ in your body , and it ’ s mostly made up of water . Without water , your skin can ’ t function at its best . If your skin doesn ’ t get enough water , not only will it become dry , tight , and flaky , but it will also become even more prone to aging .
Drinking 8 glasses a day you can reduce fine lines and wrinkles , tighten the skin and reduce acne .
The truth is that your body loses large quantities of water every day , so if you don ’ t replace it by drinking more water , your skin will suffer the consequences . It ’ s easy to see the visible difference that hydration can make for your skin .
We offer lots of different ways to hydrate your skin and boost it full of nutrients . Doing something simple like this can make you feel amazing and if you put your mind to it you can be or do anything you want .
Walk don ’ t run or if your anything like me jump feet first , I was never one for following the rules .
