THE HIGH SHERIFF VISITS CHINESE WELLBEING
Staff and Service Users at Chinese Wellbeing were delighted when The High Sheriff of Merseyside , Lesley Martin-Wright JP DL , took time to visit one of their activity sessions .
The Evergreen Club Leader Nannan Lu , explained the work of the Charity to support older members of the community and raise awareness about many health issues including , dementia , diabetes , Covid 19 and loneliness .
The members entertained the High Sheriff with songs and a dance and presented her with decorative chopsticks and a celebration cloak .
The High Sheriff was kind enough to spend some time after the session speaking with other members of staff and the management team about the problems they face and our future plans .
