HIGH EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
Our employee engagement survey conducted annually measures the health of our organisation , employee satisfaction and cultural impacts .
The results help us identify trends and opportunities to boost and improve workplace culture .
Employee engagement remained healthy at 70 %, despite the challenges of remote working and 79 % of staff took time out to complete the survey .
Where can we improve ?
• 19 % of staff feel there is poor processes and systems
• 13 % of staff recall negative experiences working with clients
• 11 % of staff agreed there is poor workspaces and inadequate technology .

What did we achieve ?
83 % agreed that Merri is a “ truly great place to work ”, a 5 % increase from 2021
70 % are engaged with the organisation and are optimistic about Merri ’ s future
91 % of staff agreed most team members are quick to step in and help
89 % of staff feel safe discussing work problems with other team members
WORKPLACE GENDER EQUALITY ALL STAFF SURVEY
Merri Health has been awarded Workplace Gender Equality Agency ( WGEA ) Employer of Choice citation for the fourth year in a row .
One of only 120 organisations nationally to receive WGEA citation for 2022 , the award recognised Merri ’ s achievements and commitment to closing the gender pay gap , providing flexible work arrangements and a progressive , supportive culture for people of all genders .
Each year , we survey our staff to analyse how we are performing .
The 2022 gender equality report showed :
97 % agreed that gender and sexual harassment are not tolerated at Merri
96 % agreed their manager genuinely supports gender equality
94 % agreed women are given equal opportunities in management
91 % agreed Merri is free from gender-based discrimination
