Who do you look to for inspiration or mentorship ? I look to my mother , Shelia Radcliffe , for inspiration and mentorship . She never stopped pursuing higher education and worked hard to achieve each diploma she has earned . I remember being a little girl and sitting on the bed with her while she studied for exams and wrote many papers . She has shown me that I can achieve whatever I want to as long as I put forth the effort .
Where did your spirit of altruism develop and why is it important to give back ? Altruism is defined as the belief in or practice of selfless concern for the well-being of others . Synonyms for altruism are selflessness , compassion , goodwill , and public-spiritedness . My father , Chris Hudnall , instilled these beliefs into me on accident . He was one of those people that would give a stranger the shirt off his back . He cared deeply about his community and wanted nothing more than to see it and the people that lived there grow and thrive .
What ’ s your favorite saying and why ? I always tell my staff that there is no problem that cannot be resolved . Most people encounter multiple problems during their day to day lives . You have two choices , come up with a solution for the problem or ignore the problem . By finding a solution to the problem , you can rest knowing that problem is no longer an issue for you .
Education : Associate ’ s Degree in Nursing , Meridian Community College ; Bachelor of Science in Nursing , University of Mississippi Medical Center ; currently working on Master of Science in Nursing degree with an emphasis on Nursing and Healthcare Administration at the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a graduation date of May , 2023 .
