Who do you look to for inspiration or mentorship ?: I am fortunate to be surrounded by a great network of friends , family , neighbors , and co-workers to look to for advice , inspiration , and mentorship .
I am grateful for the relationship I have with Dan and Lisa Holland , who I can always depend on for advice , both professional and personal , and be assured I am being steered in a positive direction . Also , I have been fortunate that Jim McRae has been a great mentor and offered his wealth of knowledge to me over the years .
Where did your spirit of altruism develop and why is it important to give back ?: I believe everyone is mostly a product of what they learned by example at a young age and who we surround ourselves by at an early age and throughout life . The foundation of selflessness shown and taught to me by my parents and extended family at an early age certainly had a positive impact on how I conduct myself .
What is your community ’ s greatest asset ? Like any community , the people are its greatest asset . I moved to Daleville right out of college and planned on it being temporary . Soon after , I married Casey and we quickly realized that Daleville was home . We are fortunate to be a part of a close-knit community where we are all looking out for each other and can call on any of our neighbors when needed .
