June 14-19th JUNETEENTH HERITAGE FESTIVAL Various downtown venues
The City of Meridian presents the 21st annual Juneteenth Heritage Festival , a vibrant heritage and freecom celebration centered around music with activities for children , a business expo , an uplifting gospel celebration and more . The festival will kick off with a Black Business Expo at the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Center on Friday , June 14 . A pickleball tournament is planned for Saturday , June 15 , from 7-11 a . m . followed by KidZone at the Children ’ s Museum in the afternoon . A Juneteenth concert will be held from 6-11 p . m . Saturday on the City Hall Lawn . A Freedom Day Play will be presented from 6-8 p . m .
