of Art earlier this year during Black History Month . In June , his E . F . Young Hotel piece was permanently added to the collection of the new Laurel-Jones County Black History Museum and Arts to be displayed next to an original copy of The Green Book , a travel guide published for African American travelers during segregation . He was excited to be included in the collection .
“ I am focusing on my art ,” Harry said of his work these days , “ because I feel like if I die tomorrow I want to leave a legacy . I want it to be said I did something that will be remembered forever .” M
