The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall - July 21-23 Stronger Together Foundation will be hosting the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall at East Mississippi Veterans Memorial Park for a three-day event . This 3 / 5 scale model of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC stands six feet tall at the center and covers almost 300 feet from end to end . The Traveling Memorial is a reminder of the sacrifices made during the Vietnam War . In addition to the memorial wall , the Cost of Freedom Tribute also will be on display . It offers a profound display of patriotism and gratitude . Events scheduled for Saturday , July 22 , include 10 a . m ., Opening Ceremonies ; 2 p . m ., Remembrance Ceremony ; and 8 p . m ., Candlelight Vigil . On Sunday , events planned include 10 a . m ., Church Service ; 2 p . m ., Remembrance Ceremony ; and 8 p . m ., Candlelight Vigil .
