Copycat Shoney ’ s Strawberry Pie

1 cup water 1 cup granulated sugar 3 tablespoons cornstarch 6 tablespoons strawberry Jello 1 pound strawberries , cleaned , stem removed and left whole 1 9-inch baked deep-dish pie crust
Blend sugar , cornstarch and water together in a medium-sized pot over medium heat . Cook , stirring occasionally , until the glaze becomes thick . It is thick enough when it can coat the back of a spoon and the glaze comes off the spoon . Add strawberry Jello to the glaze and stir to combine . Place drained whole fresh strawberries into the baked deep-dish , 9-inch pie shell . Pour cooked mixture over berries . Chill for at least two hours . Top with Cool Whip , if desired .
Cinnamon Rolls

Rolls 3 / 4 cup milk 1 packet ( 2 1 / 4 teaspoon ) instant yeast 1 tablespoon sugar 2 tablespoons butter , melted 1 / 4 cup sugar 1 egg 2 1 / 2 cups flour 1 / 2 tsp salt
Filling 1 1 / 2 teaspoon cinnamon 2 / 3 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla Softened butter
at a time . Place in an oiled bowl , cover and let rise one hour .
In a small bowl , mix 1 1 / 2 teaspoons cinnamon , 2 / 3 cup brown sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla . Roll dough into rectangle about 1 / 4 inch thick and paint with softened butter . Distribute filling equally across dough rectangle pressing lightly to adhere .
Carefully roll dough into a cylinder and cut into 1-inch spirals with a very sharp knife . Take care not to squash the dough while cutting .
Place spirals on a parchment lined baking sheet with approximately 1 / 3 to 1 / 2 inch spacing , cover and let rise 1 1 / 2 hours . Rolls should be touching but not crowded .
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until tops are golden brown .
Make frosting by combining cream cheese , butter , vanilla and powdered sugar . Quantity of sugar can be adjusted to taste . Whip until fluffy and spread across cooled cinnamon rolls .
Frosting 1 brick cream cheese 4 tablespoons softened butter 1 1 / 2 to 2 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix milk , yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar together and let sit five minutes . Add 2 tablespoons melted butter , 1 / 4 cup sugar , egg and salt and mix to combine . Using a stand mixer or large bowl , add 2 1 / 2 cups flour and mix until dough forms .
Kneed dough for five to eight minutes until smooth and slightly tacky . If too sticky , add additional flour 1 tablespoon
