The rustic , industrial beauty of the venue ’ s main indoor gallery features iron trusses , custom pine planks , chandeliers , three outdoor patios , a private bridal suite , a groom ’ s lounge , a caterer ’ s kitchen and restrooms . “ It is kind of what you would think of as ‘ Southern Meets West Coast ’ look ,” she said . “ When you see the venue , you might get the impression that it sits in a winery .”
Most brides opt to have their wedding ceremony at the outdoor chapel with the reception inside the building though a few couples have flipped the event and held the ceremony indoors and the reception outdoors .
“ It sure is nice when inclement weather pops up ,” Cieglo said . “ You don ’ t have to run around trying to figure out what to do . You just move the ceremony and reception inside .”
The indoor gallery and outdoor chapel can be decorated for most any style of wedding . The venue is ideal for the trendy rustic and boho wedding styles seen everywhere these days , but can be dressed up for a traditional , elegant ceremony and sit-down dinner .
“ It can be as elegant as you want , or it can be as boho and rustic as you want ,” Cieglo said . “ The venue is kind of designed for that . It has big chandeliers that look good when you have full table settings and everything looks really elegant , but you can also use different décor and give it that rustic , boho look with vintage furnishings and carpets .”
The indoor gallery is handicap accessible and offers climate-controlled heating and air conditioning . Cafe lighting , fans and heaters are available for the outdoor patios . Reception tables , chairs , linens and vintage décor are all included in the wedding package .
The wedding couple is allowed to use outside caterers and florists for their big day .
“ We also have an area set up for food trucks because that is kind of a cool thing brides do these days ,” Cieglo noted .
Most wedding packages include a three-day rental of the venue from Friday until noon on Sunday , so the gallery can also be used for the rehearsal dinner .
“ A lot of our brides do some of the planning and decorating themselves , so having the three-day rental is very convenient for them ,” she said .
While the original idea was to provide a venue for local brides , Indigo Pines has received bookings from across the state . They even have a booking for a bride who is from Jacksonville , Florida , and her groom is from Pennsylvania . The couple was looking for an outdoor venue located between both destinations .
“ We are right off I-20 and we are not far from I-55 and I-59 . Highway 15 is close by , too . All major thoroughfares in the state crisscross through this region , so we get brides from all areas ,” Cieglo said . “ All paths lead to Indigo Pines .” M
