Ingredients :
Yield : 8 Servings
• 3 cups sweet potatoes , cooked and mashed
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 / 3 cup butter , melted
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Sweet Potato Bake

• 1 / 4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 / 4 cup heavy cream or whole milk Topping :
• 3 tablespoons butter , melted
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1 cup pecans , chopped
• 1 / 3 cup all-purpose flour
Directions :

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit .

Mix the sweet potatoes , sugar , spices , 1 / 3 cup butter , eggs and vanilla .
3 .
Beat with an electric mixer until smooth . Add cream or milk , mix well .
4 .
Pour into a greased casserole dish ( 1 ½ quart ).
5 .
With a fork , mix topping using 3 tablespoons butter , light brown sugar , pecans and flour .
6 .
Sprinkle over the top of the casserole .
7 .
Bake for 25-30 minutes .
