Create curves. Think empire-waist gowns or ball gowns that cinch in at your natural waistline and descend into a full floor-length skirt. Emphasize your slenderness with a feminine strapless bodice, and camou -

flage a lack of hips with a full skirt. If you have a small bust, look for a bodice with ruching or lace to add volume.

Sheath and drop waist gowns will make you appear even boxier. Avoid sheath or clingy dresses that contribute nothing to creating the illusion of curves. Stay away from fussy or busy design details.

Go ahead and show some skin. Show a little cleavage, as trying to completely cover a larger chest can make it appear larger. A V - neckline with thick, supportive straps, a scoop neckline, or a strapless sweetheart neckline with support- ive boning on the inside, are the best options for women with a full bust.

Avoid detail on the bodice, including ruching, which adds volume and draws attention to the bust. Avoid a straight neckline which can make

your bust look shelf-like, or result in spillage.
